The taste of the seaside and rum have come together at seafood restaurant Mussel Men, located on Dalston's Kingsland Road in London. It has a summer menu that can be enjoyed in its Dalston garden space and inspired by this natural setting, its Cubano Jardin (£8) blends Havana Rum with the refreshing summer garden flavours of elderflower, mint, and lime. Earlier this year, the restaurant opened the Captains Quarters, a dedicated private area for people, while the whole venue, including the garden, is available to hire.
Bar, club and restaurant concept Rum Kitchen opened its latest branch in Brixton on 1 August. The Caribbean eatery offers a range of cocktails blended with Wray and Nephew rum, as well as desserts infused with rum, including a chocolate rum pot with rum genache and banana cake with rum caramel sauce. The restaurant also has branches in Notting Hill and Carnaby Street.
