Housed within a medieval structure built by Henry V in 1421, Manchester Cathedral is steeped in history, and it houses five separate event spaces of varying sizes.
The Nave can accommodate up to 1,103 standing guests or 940 seated, meanwhile The Regimental Chapel is suitable for dinner events comprising 190 guests. The iconic building has hosted countless events over the last 1,000 years, including the crowning of kings and queens. It offers six spaces to hire for modern day clients, and tours of the Abbey can be arranged as part of private event packages.
Options include the East and North Cloisters, which when combined can accommodate up to 400 people for a drinks reception or 160 for dinner. The Cellarium is suitable for events comprising 120 guests, or 80 for a cabaret-style dinner, meanwhile those seeking an outdoor space can opt for the 100-person capacity College Gardens.

St Paul’s Cathedral
Six spaces are available to hire within the renowned dome-shaped building, which works with caterers such as Harbour & Jones, Create and Food by Dish.
The largest space, the Crypt, can be hired for standing events of up to 350 guests, or seated dinners comprising 250 people. The Chapter House is ideal for medium-sized events of up to 70 attendees, and the Temple Bar is best suited to intimate dinners or boardroom-style conferences of up to 14. Those after a smaller-scale reception of 20 can also hire the latter.

Located in Kent, Canterbury Cathedral’s Lodge is available to hire for conferences, meetings, events and weddings. Hotel accommodation is also available for events spanning multiple days.
Options include the Clagett Auditorium, which offers in-built audiovisual facilities and can host 250 guests, meanwhile the 200-person Kentish Barn can be divided by a moveable wall for those seeking a series of smaller-sized meeting spaces. There is also the 50-person capacity Common Room as well as AV Conference Theatre, which can host 57 guests.
