Artisan coffee house Notes offers private hire from its five locations in central London. It describes its Notes Moorgate site as perfect for drinks events, with space for up to 35 people. Notes Trafalgar Square can hold up to 60 people, while its Kings Cross location features a mezzanine, which has the capacity for up to 30 people.
It also offers catering, with canapés such as chorizo and wild mushroom tarts, and smoked makerel and orseradish mousse on walnut bread croute. All of its locations are available to hire on Sunday evenings, or it can take reservations for larger groups at any time. Its Moorgate and Canary Wharf Crossrail sites are also available on Saturday evenings.

Brighton-based Café Coho has two coffee shops, which are both fully licensed. The business has the ability to cater for up to 60 people (minimum of 35) and can offer a range of options include traditional Spanish pinxo (similar to tapas) and cava. A sounddock is also available for you to hook up your own music.

Urban Tea Rooms
This Soho tea room can be booked for events, with either the downstairs space or the entire venue available for hire. The downstairs area seats 25, and the upstairs space can seat the same number with additional standing room. The venue also offers tapas, a late license, British sourced food and classic and tea-infused cocktails.

Roots Bistro & Coffeehouse
The Norwich based bistro and coffeehouse offers all three floors of its site for private hire, which can be booked as a whole or separately. It claims to provide a flexible menu to suit all budgets and can arrange space for speeches or live acts, for example. Capacity-wise the venue can hold 90 in total, or 65 over two levels.
