This relatively new Grade II art deco space can host up to 800 guests and it is complete with its own in-house catering team, which is led by Caroline Gardiner and Alan Lucas.
For lunchtime events the pair has devised a series of pop-up food stations where guests can watch on as staff members prepare dishes in front of them, and in the evening there is a three-course event menu available.
Starters include a pulled pork and leek terrine and liquorice cured mackerel creation, meanwhile a 28-day rib eye bearnaise dish, which is served with chips and green salad are among the main options. Choose from the likes of a salted caramel tart, poached berries with Prosecco jelly and praline or eton mess for dessert.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy-free options are available at both lunchtime and evening events.

The Signet Library
This Georgian-style Edinburgh venue includes four rooms – the 400-capacity upper library is designed for larger events and the lower library can host 220 guests. The Commissioners & Witness Rooms, as well as Seminar & Arbitration rooms are well suited to conferences and other small-scale events or meetings.
Heritage Portfolio’s head chef Brian Canale and his 40-strong team oversee the venue’s food offering, where the philosophy is around using local, seasonal ingredients to create dishes that are a little left-of-centre.
Canapés include an apple wood smoked cheese and celery tart and crispy haggis balls, as well as bite-sized snacks on a stick and spoon such as Asian pork and noodle lollipops with sesame and soy dipping sauce and podded summer peas with radicchio, haloumi and lemon sabayon.
There are three-course spring/summer and autumn/winter menus for guests to choose from, meanwhile Canale is happy to work with clients on bespoke menus.
