The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars band is a rotating group of jazz performers from the West End club, including musical talent such as pianist James Pearson, its musical director. It will perform a seventeen-night run at Forman’s, which is located 100m from the Olympic Stadium.

The band will be accompanied by cocktails and late-night dining at the Forman's Olympic restaurant, which will be set up alongside 'In the Rings with Ali', a private exhibition celebrating the life of boxer Muhammad Ali.

Ronnie Scott’s All Stars will be on stage from 10pm – 3am throughout the Olympic period, before the Forman’s club closes at 4am. The performances will be included in the venue’s late dining package and tickets to the club can also be bought without dining.

Lance Forman, owner of Forman’s Fish Island said: "This is the ultimate meeting of great food and great music, two London institutions coming together for a festival of fine dining and the finest jazz. I’m working on a new salmon cure for the occasion - look out for my gravad-sax."

The venue promises high-profile acts for the opening and closing ceremony nights which will be announced shortly.

As reported in Event, Forman’s has also created a 30 riviera hospitality suites in an area alongside the venue, two of which have been booked by swimming brand Speedo for the Games.
