Electronics firm Tiger Telematics launched its mobile gaming console Gizmondo by opening a shop in London's Regent Street on 19 March - and to mark the event, GSP staged an evening concert headlined by Sting at the Sheraton Hotel Park Lane.
GSP Productions director Jules Stevenson said: "With a lead time of three weeks and a guest-list that topped 2,000, the event was an exciting challenge that began with a 3am build straight after a charity gala dinner staged in the hotel's ballroom."
Three days earlier, GSP helped launch the flagship Bond Street store for Italian jeweller and watchmaker Bulgari with an evening reception for 350 guests. It installed a flower wall to promote the designer's new Flora product range and managed gourmet food stations in the store.
The day after the Gizmondo launch, GSP produced an afternoon party for children at former Marco Pierre White restaurant Atlantic on behalf of Entertainment Films following the Leicester Square premier of the British animated movie Valiant. Around 500 guests, including actors Jim Broadbent and Ewan McGregor, attended along with 200 children who enjoyed face-paints, candy floss machines, a disco and a sweetshop. GSP founder Emma Gold said: "The venue is extremely child friendly and we included a World War II-themed tea room for the parents. This year has got off to a flying start with an extremely diverse number of projects."
