FlyGlastonbury is now offering competitive rates for festival goers after taking on a Glastonbury hospitality package also offered by Wimbledon-based event organiser Mango.

The Somerset-based company, established in 2001, is offering backstage hospitality from £345 plus accommodation after deciding to sell tickets itself, instead of acting purely as a supplier to Mango for the package.

Mango's package, which is still offered by the company and featured in the Packages section of April's Event, costs significantly more, at £999 per person, but is understood to include extra food and drink in the price.

A spokesperson for FlyGlastonbury said: "Windinglake Farm's guests are principally music industry personnel, bands, artistes and celebrities, as well as members of the public seeking privacy and security. "

Mango confirmed FlyGlastonbury will now be selling the package at a cheaper rate, but refused to comment further on the situation.

The Windinglake Farm offering includes complimentary organic, locally sourced, home-cooked food; a festival programme; on-site facilities including boot washing, lounge bar, wi-fi and telephones; bedding; and a pick-up and drop-off service to and from the festival at gate C.
