The cities of London, Manchester and Newcastle offer a varied range of photography studios for hire, including converted warehouses and those that specialise in large-scale productions.

Studio 1 at Photolink Studios and Production

This Photolink Studios and Production space is one of the company’s many photography studios available for hire.

Studio 1 is a 2,200 square foot two-level space, with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area located on the top floor. The floors are pine throughout, and the walls white, apart from exposed wooden brackets that support the roof. Hair and make-up, as well as changing room facilities, are also available.

Studio 4 at Premier Park Studios

Situated in north west London, Premier Park Studios offers three photography studios for hire, including Studio 4, which is able to accomodate particularly large projects. It features polished concrete flooring and dual shutter drive-in access, enabling production teams to transport equipment with ease.

Other features of the 2,500 square foot space include a self-contained meeting room and area for stylists, optional daylight, three phase power, air conditioning and wi-fi.

The Depot 

A former tram shed built in the 1880s, The Depot Studios ticks all of the on-trend boxes – exposed brick and timber work, industrial lighting and an east London postcode.

The 465 square foot venue comprises a photography studio, cinema room and gallery space, all of which are available for hire. The photography studio comes complete with production equipment, washroom facilities and wi-fi, with hire rates available upon request.

Mayfield Studio

Located on the third floor of Curtis Mayfield House in the heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Mayfield Studio is available to hire for photo shoots, film projects and private events.

The 3,500 square foot warehouse style space features a lounge area, black room and infinity cove, and it comes complete with lighting equipment, studio props and coloured paper backdrops. The venue is also able to supply staff including photographers, make-up artists, film crew, stylists and caterers.

Studio IJ at Spring House 

Large glass windows feature prominently within the south and east-facing Studio IJ, making it a light-filled venue perfect for daytime shoots. The converted warehouse features exposed brickwork and reclaimed wooden floors, and it can be combined with another two of the building’s studios to create a 7,000 square foot workspace.

Studio IJ comes complete with a professional sound system, movable partition system, four Mac production areas, a dining area, digital cinema projector and changing facilities.
