E-cigarette brand Blu eCigs is offering smokers the chance to experience a pop-up ‘vape café’, which will offer a menu where sour tastes are turned sweet. Natural taste modifier the miraculin berry heightens sweet taste receptors on the tongue, so visitors will be given a miraculin tablet and sample plate of tart tasting food to test the theory.

From 1 October, Selfridges is to host a series of in-store events, as well as an offsite pop-up art space, as part of its Live + Loud festival in Birmingham. In celebration of the Rugby World Cup, car hire company Addison Lee has unveiled a 20-strong fleet of specially decorated cars - each sporting a participating nation’s flag. The drivers will also hail from the nation that the flag represents.

If you haven’t visited already, gin brand Bombay Sapphire is hosting a pop-up in association with Sanderson hotel in London, where visitors are taken on a botanical journey. The pop-up takes its inspiration from the 10 botanical ingredients used to create the drink.
