Megson told Event he will be taking some time off before he explores management-focussed opportunities within the industry.
He said: "I’m extremely proud of the work the team at We Few have produced over the last two years. From the beginning the board planned a creatively-led, nimble agency and having built that I’ve taken the tough decision to move on."
He added that creative partner Aiden Howes will lead the agency in the short-term.
Howes said: "The company has given us a means of creating our own brand of social media-friendly experiential. Jason’s contribution has been pivotal in delivering that vision and in us realising key projects to help solidify our client base.
"We wish him well with future projects and will continue to build on the agency he has helped shape."
Megson left his role as head of experiential EMEA at OgilvyAction in 2013, where he held the position for two years, to set up We Few in the February of the same year with ex-RPM creative head Howes.
During his time at the agency, Megson has worked on activations at prestigious events such as Wimbledon, MotoGP and the Ryder Cup, working with such brands as Hertz and Standard Life Investments.
