Taking place from 20-22 November, the brand promises to serve up enough cake for 12,000 people.

The event is being supported by a competition to find the nation’s best festive cake recipe. The winning cake is to take centre stage at the bake sale in the North Atrium.

Fairy will be showcasing its washing up liquid by cleaning all 12,000 dishes with just one 780ml bottle. Shoppers are being asked to donate £1 for a slice of cake, and for each plate washed, Fairy will donate an extra £10 to the charity.

Singer and television presenter Rochelle Humes will be supporting the event live on 21 November.

The charity experience follows on from Fairy and Make-A-Wish’s record-breaking cake creation of 2014. The Bake-A-Wish dessert measured 12 by 10 metres and used 8,360 eggs.
