Exposure forms links with US counterparts

Exposure Event Creations, organiser of the Exhibiting Show, has formed an alliance with its US counterpart, TS2.

Exposure Event Creations, organiser of the Exhibiting Show, has formed an alliance with its US counterpart, TS2. The US exhibition for the corporate events industry is organised by National Trade Productions. This year’s event took place in Washington DC in July. Both organisers have agreed to share market intelligence, collaborate on promotional strategy and form reciprocal sales initiatives to boost each other’s attendance and create transatlantic business platforms. “More than half the visitors to this year’s Exhibiting Show were interested in exhibiting internationally,” said Exhibiting Show event director Marcus Timson. “It is also evident that the concept of integrating with the US exhibition industry is high on the agenda for UK and European contractors, so we look forward to collaborating with TS2 on behalf of all our clients.” The recently revamped TS2 is also affiliated with the Trade Show Exhibitor Association (TSEA), which provides education, advocacy and promotion for exhibitors in the US. Both TSEA and TS2 will be at the UK Exhibiting Show 2006, which will take place at Excel London from 28-29 June, to offer advice to anyone considering exhibiting in North America. In return, Exposure Event Creations will run a pavilion of UK exhibitors at next year’s TS2 for any US companies interested in opportunities here. National Trade Productions executive director Steve Greenspan said: “This arrangement promotes an exchange of ideas that can be shared and developed between each event.” Last year’s Exhibition Show attracted around 3,000 visitors. TS2 2005 drew 2,410 attendees. The 2006 event will take place at the McCormick Place Convention Centre in Chicago from 25-27 July.
