Expo figures could record fewer visitors

CMP Information’s Call Centre Expo is expecting its show audit to report a reduction in visitors following its September outing at the Birmingham NEC. The Audit Bureau of Circulation will state that the annual exhibition for the call centre industry received fewer than 6,000 buyers compared with its 2004 attendance of 7,132 visitors. Despite the declining attendance, Call Centre Expo has increased the number of international visitors for a seventh year in succession. By focusing on association business and international press advertising almost 10% of attendees at the show are non-UK. In total, 230 exhibitors attended Call Centre Expo and 103 launched call and contact centre products.
