Both Bain and Karim will work across Tribe, its staffing arm Brand Warriors and new experiential offering Playmaker, which launched last month.
Bain joins from BD Network, where he was creative director. Previously he worked for agencies such as Iris, Haygarth and Arnold KLP, dealing with accounts with Pepsi, Tango and Nokia.
Prior to joining Tribe, Karim was based in London with advertising agency Brothers & Sisters.
Chris Russell, managing director of Tribe, said: "We’ve started the year with a bang and it looks like 2015 is going to be massive for us: Playmaker is already working for Coca-Cola and Bacardi Martini, Tribe has new projects for companies like Nestlé and Canon, and Brand Warriors is in constant demand. We have expanded massively over the past year, with new clients, new service offerings and new staff.
"We are restructuring the board and have brought in some big hitters to give us the resources to handle the business we’ve already won and the business we will be winning during the year. Derek and Paul have solid experience gained at big-name agencies and their skills will help us drive Tribe’s future growth."
