Sources close to Event magazine confirmed that Rutter and Braun, who both joined the agency in 2012, will be launching an experiential agency in the coming months.
In his time at the agency, Rutter, who is also production lead, launched a new brand identity and website and also led a successful pitch for Twitter, resulting in Slice implementing a series of experiences at the Cannes Lions Festival 2015. Slice is part of Engine Group.
Slice confirmed that Rutter and Braun will leave the business at the end of the year. As a result of this, the agency has promoted Dan Keene, currently client services director, to run the business as its new managing partner. Keene holds over a decade’s experience in events and brand experiences and has managed and grown Slice’s key accounts since joining in 2014.
