Megson joined OgilvyAction from BD Network in June 2011 with a remit to expand the agency’s use of digital platforms and develop its experiential offering.

Since then, OgilvyAction has won several Event awards for its work on behalf of brands such as Motorola, Siemens and Triumph.

Megson told Event he is leaving to pursue other challenges within the industry. An announcement regarding his next move is expected before the end of the month.

He said: "I feel the timing is right for both me and the agency. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and have contributed to some fantastic and award winning pieces of work, plus multiple listings for brand experience agency of the year. This has laid the foundations for the strong and respected experiential team already in place at OgilvyAction to have a very successful 2013."

Previously, Megson worked at DraftFCB, Closer and Because. At BD Network he worked on accounts including Coca Cola, Virgin Media and Heinz.
