The company also offers services in promotional, hospitality and in-store staffing. The decision to expand came from clients’ demand for premium security staff to support events in the aforementioned sectors.
Tim Peace, former director of Raffiné, has joined the agency as director of security operations. He will head up a range of services, including corporate event security, festival and event security, asset protection and event medical services.
All staff working for the division will be licensed by the Security Industry Authority, with most joining from the police force or military.
Chris Wareham, Mash’s managing director, said: "Among summer festivals and executive close protection, we recently provided Initials Marketing with a full service security and first aid provision at their Fiat 500 – The Icon Remastered event featuring Ella Eyre in Potters Fields Park.
"Our experience in staffing, with the right leader in security means we are perfectly placed to provide clients with a comprehensive resource for staffing at events."
Peace added: "We recognise that what all clients really want from their security provision is to feel supported, have their customers and staff well cared for and just know that 'security is taken care of', without the need to worry or have to lower expectations.
"Our service is entirely client focused appreciating the journey of building an event from scratch and considering all elements to make it work."
