Jackson is to leave GPJ within six months after a four-year stint. He joined in 2011 from Jack Morton Worldwide

Commenting on the decision, Jackson said: "Throughout my career, things have tended to go in three-to-four year cycles, and so it feels like now is a good time to move on.

Jackson said that as his profile and reputation has grown both within and outside of the industry, he’s seen new opportunities to share his perspective and expertise with a wider audience.

"I’m especially keen to do more around enhancing the reputation of our rapidly evolving sector, and spend more time nurturing the next generation of talent."

Jason Megson, UK managing director at GPJ, added: "In the following months we will work closely with Kevin on a managed transition of responsibilities as we realign our business development function.

"We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours and thank him for his contribution to GPJ’s current position as one of EMEA’s leading experience marketing agencies."

Jackson is also president-elect of the UK chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES).
