The event production company, which was behind projections for events like the Nokia Lumia handset launch on Milbank Tower, has launched a sales and marketing team in the US.
It has also appointed New York-based agent Nancy Jacobs as its representative in the country. Jacobs is a seasoned agent who has introduced UK talent like Aardman, The Famous Group and Mr Hyde to the US.
Drive told Event several events are in the pipeline over the next few months, after members of the team visited the US in December to pitch to over 40 potential clients including Google and AT&T.
Drive chief executive Ben Fender said: "Expanding into the US advertising and experiential marketplace is an exciting development for Drive in 2013 and beyond. We have already created some great shows in the USA, but this partnership with Nancy Jacobs is the perfect next step for drive in developing as a boutique global creative agency."
Nancy Jacobs said: "I believe that Drive creates life-affirming work. Its events transcend cultures and places and countries and differences and speak to the hearts of people. It’s exactly what’s needed in the US and the response on their recent visit was overwhelming."
Drive’s previous work in the US includes the iconic 4D mapping show on Ralph Lauren’s flagship store on Madison Avenue in 2010, which coincided with a projection at the New Bond Street shop in London.
