The team will be visiting a number of agencies up and down the country, to present the benefits of holding an event at Excel London, as well as updating people on the latest news and details of the extension, which is due to open in Spring 2010.
"The sales and marketing team is donning their festive gear and taking to the road to visit agencies throughout the UK," said head of conference and events sales James Rees. "It's a fun and informal way for us to meet our clients, update them on our latest news and to thank them for their support this year."
The new development will include a semi-permanent auditorium with retractable seating and dropped floor space seating up to 5,000; an additional conference suite providing space for up to 1,200; and a 32,500sqm flat-floor event space.
A covered pedestrian walkway will be built from Prince Regent DLR station direct to a new east entrance, plus additional casual dining outlets and more underground parking will be available.
