I got into the events industry because as a student I did promotional work. After a few years travelling I worked at various PR and promotional agencies and the next logical career step was to open my own agency.
I have worked here since Eyecandy launched in April 2004.
I was attracted to this particular role because I feel passionate about the industry and had always aspired to be my own boss.
Not many people know that I’m a Sarah Jessica Parker look-a-like in my spare time.
My worst experience at an event was getting (someone else’s) urine in my eye at V Festival.
If there's one thing I've learnt it's always trust your gut instinct.
The best events I've been involved in are ones which are both challenging for Eyecandy and our client is ecstatic with the results.
If I could do it all over again I would I would have started earlier.
The one thing I can't stand is lateness.
Outside of work I spend my time - there is no time outside of work. We are a 27-hour industry.
If money were no object I would expand Eyecandy to be a global brand.
The one event I will never miss is RSVP.
The recession has meant that past inefficiencies within Eyecandy became glaringly obvious and as a result we have become a more efficient company.
The next 12 months will be our best yet.
If I ruled the event industry I would shut down all competitors.
