I got into the events industry because the fashion industry didn't want me.

I have worked here since 1991.

I was attracted to this particular role because I enjoy putting my creative and innovative skills into making unique parties and events.

Not many people know that I launched the bar Titanic. It sunk when I left.

My worst experience at an event was Robert De Niro not being let into one of my parties. His name was not on the guest list, but the doorman didn't recognise him.

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s
a celebrity bust-up outside your venue guarantees front page headlines the day after.

The best event I’ve been involved in was one of the many fun and fabulous events I have been involved in organising.

If I could do it all over again I would have never mixed business with pleasure.

The one thing I can’t stand is rudeness.

Outside of work I spend my time riding my horse

If money were no object I'd spend all my time riding a number of horses.

The one event I will never miss is my niece’s birthday.

The next 12 months will be challanging and exciting with so many new venues opening in London, and the Olypmics coming to town.

If I could switch places with anyone else in the industry it would be Richard Caring. I would never have to worry about getting a table in the Ivy again

If I ruled the event industry I'd be worn out.
