Winners of 24 categories were presented with gongs last Thursday (2 October) at the awards ceremony at Troxy in east London, which was attended by more than 700 industry professionals.
Steely Fox and W, which were crowned Grand Prix winners and picked up four awards in total, told Event: "It's been a lot of work, about 18 months of preparation, and working as this team collectively has been really rewarding to see our achievements come to life."
Amplify, which won Brand Experience Agency of the Year, sponsored by Mash Staffing, explained: "Looking at the companies we were up against in that category, I think we were up against some strong, creative businesses. But I think because we have an amazing team it gives us a really strong advantage."
Harbour and Jones Events, which scooped Caterer of the Year, sponsored by EFX, said they tried to pick creative events to showcase the company's authenticity and ethos. "We wanted to highlight three events that profiled our business as being creative and fitted the profile of what the awards judges were looking for."
OXO2, which was crowned Event Space of the Year - Less the 400, sponsored by CrowdScreen, explained: "There are a lot of small venues around South Bank, and being in a residential area is quite tough. But I think the personal touch is why we stand out, including our sales and operations, it's all about the customer experience and giving back to the customer."Comment below to let us know what you think.
