105 student brand ambassadors - or 'RooReps' - and students at Bournemouth University were invited to test their eating capabilities at a food eating challenge on 24 November, which featured two, three foot Burritos. During the event, Reality TV star Scott Timlin took on YouTube sensation Kate Ovens and attempted to battle the giant dishes.
The event then continued onto Halo Nightclub, where guests could use Deliveroo's geo specific Snapchat filters, recieve free food credits and don Deliveroo T-shirts.
The student club takeover in Bournemouth is part of wider #RooRescue campaign from Deliveroo, which will see the brand visit student club events in 35 cities across the UK.
The campaign has been devised and delivered by Raptor Marketing.
Last week, Just Eat staged a futuristic event designed to showcase the latest trends and innovations in food tech. In June, Deliveroo opened a pop-up 'secret garden' which offered Londoners an urban oasis for eating and socialising.
