After meeting at the Badoo headquarters and being greeted by a fireshow and LED drummer, guests were transported to the luxury yacht in stretch Hummers for an evening of nautical-themed experiences.
They were able to sample themed cocktails created by expert mixologists and indulge in seafood dishes. The decor was centred around a nautical theme, with aquatic performances taking place in fish-filled water tanks.
Britain's Got Talent semi-finalists Faces of Disco performed alongside a Lady Gaga tribute act to keep guests entertained throughout the night, and a Jack Sparrow character led guests to the huge array of themed fancy dress and props, before directing them to a slow motion video booth.
The event aimed to celebrate Badoo's membership milestone, after the company reached 300 million members earlier this year. The brand also hoped to use the event to attract new customers.
Badoo worked with creative events agency The Bank to stage the activation.
In October, e-vaping company Blu created a date-themed activation at Westfield London. Last month, Instagram staged a Christmas fair which showcased independent businesses.
