Created by Iris Worldwide, the final marked the culmination of more than 32 events across the world, which saw football fans take part in 2x2 tournaments for the chance to make it to the final.
Activity has taken place in cities including Berlin, New York and London.
Located in the docks of the French city, the final was held in an arena built out of shipping containers, and it included a 30ft reactive scoreboard system.
The 2x2 game was not about scoring games, but rewarding the player that stood out the most.
Alongside the amateur finalists, 12 professional footballers from teams including Real Madrid, Juventus, A.C Milan, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United took part in the event.
Points were awarded by the judges using an iPad interface hooked up to giant LED screens.
Production agency Pulse Films created the video footage from the event, directed by Giorgio Testi.
Adidas hosted the UK arm of the tournament at its pop-up football stadium at Pop Brixton in August, where participants could try out the brand’s ACE15 and X15 boots in a series of interactive challenges.
