Corporate event planners from companies including ITV, Channel 4, O2 and The Department of Health enjoyed champagne, canapes and one of the best performances ever from Suede, who had got back together after a seven year hiatus specifically for this gig as part of the week long Teenage Cancer Trust event.

Digging into their amazing back catelogue of songs, the band who can be attributed with paving the way for the likes of Blur and Oasis, were excellent. Frontman and singer Brett Anderson rolled back the years still hitting those high notes and swivelling those snake-like hips.

Highlights included an accoustic version of Next Life, a fantastic rendition of b-side Living Dead and a rousing Metal Mickey, which resulted in a standing ovation from the packed crowd.

See how the venue was set up for the gig here.

Look out for May's Event when there will be full feature on the Teenage Cancer Trust event.
