Event Awards 2016: The winners

The Microsoft Xbox Survival Billboard campaign won a host of gongs including the coveted Grand Prix award at the Event Awards 2016 last night (13 October).

More than 700 guests at the Eventim Apollo witnessed McCann London, m:united//McCann, Momentum Worldwide London and MRM Meteorite & Craft win the top prize for the Microsoft Xbox Survival Billboard to launch a Tomb Raider game. The campaign also picked up awards for Outstanding Creative Idea, The Game Changer and Integrated Marketing Campaign.

This year’s awards saw 24 category winners on the night (see below for a full list of the winners and finalists) and were hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan, known for appearances on British panel shows including Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

Entertainment, produced in partnership with events entertainment provider Young Guns, featured pianist, producer and composer Tokio Myers as the headline act. 

Caterer Zafferano created a bespoke menu for the night, which included a neon pudding to fit the event's colour pop dress code.
