Event Awards 2015 shortlist announced

The shortlist for this year's Event Awards has been announced today (24 July), ahead of the ceremony on 14 October.

More than 300 entries were received across 23 categories, 12 of which debuted this year. The 15-person judging panel, which includes representatives from Innocent Drinks and L’Oréal, will now begin the process of deliberating the winners.

Yasmin Arrigo, editor-in-chief of Event, said: "We gave the Event Awards categories a complete overhaul this year, bringing them in line with Event’s recent shift in content to focus purely on brand experiences and the channel of experiential. We are thrilled to have received support from across the industry for the 12 new categories, which include Global Brand Activation, Best Disruptive Campaign and Outstanding Creative Idea. 

"Our brand activation categories are the most keenly contested - bagging a place on the shortlist in these areas is no mean feat and we salute the teams that have delivered such enviable campaigns. We hope you will join us in October to see who takes home one of the 23 Event Awards for 2015."
