As part of the wider Jack Rocks music campaign, Splendid Communications unleashed a rock and roll music experience on Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, in March.

Stars of the Jack Rocks Your Town event were LA-based blues-rock band Rival Sons, who flew in via helicopter and landed on the town’s cricket pitch.

The band performed to 600 fans at the Holmfirth Picturedrome, supported by indie group The Bohicas and local band Cry Baby Cry.

An after-party saw BBC Radio One’s Clara Amfo and Nick Power from The Coral DJ into the early hours.

Other highlights included Jack Daniel’s filming a documentary-style music video for Rival Sons’ unreleased track Good Luck, generating more than one million views within two days of release on Facebook.

The campaign accumulated 34 pieces of media coverage, including the Daily Mirror online and the Daily Express, with a reach of more than 78 million.
