In March 2005, Photosound Communications was tasked with building a 350sqm exhibition stand at the European Association of Urology in Istanbul to showcase medicine specialist, Astellas.
The stand needed to promote Astellas' three major products Omnic OCAS, Vesicare and Eligard. It had to immerse visitors in the three brands, convey key product messages while providing a platform for exhibitors and visitors to interact.
A white stand formed in the shape of waves was created to signify the urology franchise brand's promise of 'controlling the flow'. Water features such as fountains appeared throughout the stand, along with a self-service mineral water bar.
The product-branded areas stood out, without the brands vying for the visitors' attention.
Interactive features included Mission Eligard: a space invader challenge, Omnic OCAS All Night Long Recharger, a character game challenge with key brand messages and Omnic and Eligard fact-finders.
The ambitious project saw Photosound draw on contacts both in the UK and in Turkey. In total an impressive 80% of the audience visited the flagship exhibition stand.
SILVER - Flash Car Wash
Agency Lime was asked by FMCG giant Procter & Gamble to create an interactive stand to support the launch of the Flash Car Cleaning System. The key message to be translated was "For an Easy Spot Free Clean And Shine With No Need To Hand Dry."
The World Rally Championship theme incorporated a live 'wet' demonstration area centring round a WRC car. There was seating and educational pods to watch demonstrations and the opportunity for visitors to trial the product.
Approximately 22,400 attendees visited the stand.
