The inaugural one-day event, launched by Event and sister title C&IT, will feature a combination of inspirational speaker sessions, a Creative Catwalk showcasing the work of venues and suppliers, and an interactive Tech Zone where attendees will be able to discover the latest technology trends shaping future events.
Kia Hanly, head of events and hospitality at ITV, and Alison Williams, divisional events manager for L'Oréal Professional Products UK & Republic of Ireland, will join the speaker panel for Big Questions Live. The session aims to tackle a number of issues such as how effective events are in driving business goals and whether measuring ROI is still a challenge for most events.
Mat Braddy, chief marketing officer for online takeaway and food delivery service Just Eat has been confirmed for a session on why events and experiential marketing should be top of the marketing mix for 2015. He will join Mariam Ahmed of Shortlist Media and Kelly Phillips from EE.
