Edelman Dabo Experiential will build upon Dabo’s existing event management division. The new outfit has made a number of senior hires, including production director Stefano Milan and Lynette Bond, business creation director.

Lucy d’Abo, former managing partner at Dabo & Co, has been announced as Edelman Dabo Experiential’s managing director. The 20-strong team is currently working on projects for the likes of The Abraaj Group and the Sharjah International Children’s Festival.

Edelman Dabo will complement Edelman’s existing regional consumer PR and digital operations. It has a roster of more than 50 clients in the Middle East.

David Brain, president and chief executive officer, Edelman Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, said: "The communications marketing landscape is evolving at a pace where yesterday’s innovation horizon is reached at a speed that was unimaginable even a couple of years ago. Our focus on building our leadership position requires us to be one step ahead of our clients’ evolving needs.

"Dabo & Co has been consistently able to deliver high levels of creativity in consumer communications and experiential activations, granting it national acclaim and making it an ideal addition to our existing business on the Middle East."
