Cadbury will be hosting its annual Easter egg hunt across the Easter weekend, inviting the whole nation to take part. Families can join the brand at National Trust and National Trust for Scotland properties across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and, for the tenth year running, Cadbury will be providing properties with the support to activate their own personalised egg hunt themes. Each theme will link back to the venue's unique stories, and may range from knights tracking down dragon eggs to a 1950s vintage-style Easter egg hunt. Participants will be rewarded with a Cadbury treat at the end of the hunt. Agency RPM is behind the experiential elements of the campaign.
Nick Jr. has teamed up with Intu shopping centres to create augmentred reality (AR) family experiences. The shopping centre conglomerate has added AR technology to its in-centre app, and will bring Nick Jr. characters to life for children and families to enjoy. The six AR experiences can be unlocked by scanning the images found within Intu’s 14 shopping centres across the UK. Participants will be able to pose for a picture with the Shimmer and Shine genies and play a Half Shell Heroes game. Shoppers can also attend meet and greets with PAW Patrol’s Chase and Marshall, as well as daily Nick Jr.-themed workshops.
Food conglomerate Nestlé is bringing back its cereal-themed Aisle of Wonder pop-up to Westfield Stratford City from 13-23 April. The pop-up will give guests the chance to create their own cereal blends, with 12 different Nestlé cereals on offer including Shredded Wheat, Shreddies and Cheerios. Visitors will also be able to pick from a range of toppings, milks and yoghurts. This year, customers can personalise their own box of Shredded Wheat, Shreddies or Cheerios, and those unable to make it to the pop-up have the chance to win a personalised cereal box by tweeting a photo of their favourite blend of Nestlé Cereals using the #CerealTwist hashtag.
Shopping centres Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City will be hosting a 'Revamp Camp: Customise your Closet' event this Easter, in collaboration with charity Save the Children. Guests will be able to attend creative in-centre workshops that aim to teach children how to inject life into the unworn clothes in their closet. The charity and London-based shopping centres will encourage children to upcycle their clothing and give them a new lease of life, using fabric pens, stencilling, paint and glitter to re-invent their wardrobe.
