Capital and Counties (Capco), the firm that owns the site, has also gained a "Statement of Common Ground", signed with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (LBHF) and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), which means all three major stakeholders will work towards the redevelopment of the site, and the demise of the exhibition centre.

The details were revealed in a Capco’s interim statement, which seems to pour cold water on the idea revealed in the national press today that Chelsea Football Club could move to the site.

The statement also showed a picture of an increasingly healthy exhibition industry, as of today (9 November), 65 per cent of 2011 budgeted licence fees for the venues owned by Capco (Earls Court, Olympia, The Brewery) have been contracted.
