DIARY: And finally ..

Having previewed Bognor Regis's big event, the International Bognor

Birdman (Marketing Event, April) Diary decided that it was only right

that we brought you the results of this prestigious event.

With 25,000 spectators looking on, Ron Freeman flew away with £1,000 following a magnificent flight of 52.6 metres. He also won the

prize for the longest time in the air having been airborne for 10.79

seconds.

Meanwhile, in the "Leonardo Da Vinci" category, Dick Chitolie won his

second successive title by riding an eight foot tall dragonfly called

Juliette. Diary hopes Juliette enjoyed the ride as much as Dick.
