Mrs Thatcher just refuses to disappear and leave us all alone. She recently attended London's Gibson Hall as 'guest of honour' at a new fundraising initiative for the Variety Club.
Also present was TV's Sir David 'Hello, good evening and welcome' Frost and Adam '60s icon' Faith. It was all to support a new venture, which will see the Variety Club work with the business community in London's square mile and Docklands to raise money.
Catering was provided for 300 at the hall which is run by Crown Venue Catering.
There were sure to be some guests who thought the Baroness had done a good job for Britain. But others - Diary among them - felt her presence led to high unemployment, the destruction of British industry and, unforgivably, forced Ben Elton on us.
