DIARY: Entering the political arena ..

Last year's general election saw a resounding victory for the apathy party and with rows over spin doctors, a crumbling health service and most of the nation still wondering what the point of Iain Duncan Smith is, you'd think no-one would touch anything political with a barge pole.

Panellists included stargazer and glockenspielmeister Sir Patrick Moore (pictured) as well as Paymaster General Dawn Primarolo and shadow cabinet office minister Tim Collins (No, Diary hadn't heard of those two either) who discussed issues in front of an audience of about 150.
