Bloomer, who was formerly managing director of the Devries Slam London office, will be responsible for developing the agency’s growth and capability across Europe, by creating new models to effectively service global clients throughout the region.
Chaldecott will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Devries Slam UK office, including marketing, talent management, new business and financial duties.
She was previously employed as head of brand strategy at the agency, and worked across brands such as Beats by Dr. Dre, Tanqueray Gin and PepsiCo.
The promotions form part of Devries Global’s broader strategy, led by Ivette Sanz Osso, executive vice president of global practices at Devries Slam, to streamline its operational and leadership models. This will see Osso responsible for the company’s business growth in key territories throughout 2016.
Heidi Hovland, chief executive at Devries Global, said: "Helena has ushered in unprecedented growth for the Devries Slam office since her installation as managing director. Her leadership in fostering a creatively prosperous culture within the agency has led to their best year yet.
"We look to her appointment as a catalyst for new growth across Europe, while she continues to lead her team to further success. Together with the inimitable Gemma Chaldecott in her new role as deputy MD, they will be integral in recognising Devries Global’s visions of success in 2016 and beyond."
Bloomer added: "Following an incredible year, we are focused on how to best offer our first-class client services across Europe and beyond. Working in harmony with our Devries Global counterparts around the world, we move to becoming even more of a truly global organisation.
"Europe is an important growth area for us and with these newly appointed roles, we will work with agency leads across the region to drive greater growth and synergies."
