How was the party themed? Ford's agency Imagination created Parker's Club in the hotel's Woodlands Suite in the style of a chic London gentleman's club. The event's space boasted all the style of Lady Penelope's luxurious upper-class lifestyle along with a hint of Parker's "Yes M'Lady" quality of service. The 75 VIP guests were greeted with a host of themed cocktails and drinks. They were then invited to relax in one of the stylish leather couches, pot a few pinks on the snooker table or play at one of the many casino tables. A "Yes M'Lady" Bar was created to conjure up a designer drinks menu that included a fruity FAB1, a Yes M'Lady short cocktail and a very pink and creamy concoction called a Lady P.
Who was behind the party? Imagination was responsible for the overall design and production of the event. The casino tables and staff were provided by KDM Events, while entertainment agency Hot Jam International supplied pianist Mike Kemp. The Belfry Hotel supplied the bar and a sumptuous feast that included slow-roasted Asian-spiced lamb with minted cous cous, as well as roast lemon and garlic chicken.
What were the hightlights? Kemp's renditions of smooth jazz tunes played on an exquisite baby grand piano plus goodie bags that comprised a luxurious pink imitation snakeskin box lined with faux fur. Inside the box was a limited edition book that contained original designs of the Ford cars that star in the Thunderbirds film.
