Dan Dare flies in to RAF Club

London's RAF Club hosted the launch of computer-animated TV series

Dan Dare Pilot of the Future.

The event was staged by Metro which used eight Panasonic 42-inch plasma

screens on five-foot plinths to roll out a trailer, followed with an

episode from the series. The room was decorated with large high dual

graphic boards and was in red and amber lighting reflecting the

brand.

"Metro staged the scene dramatically," said Dan Dare executive producer

Colin Frewin.

Metro staging and events director Paul Braybrook said: "Dan Dare is all

about great entertainment and we had to deliver this energy."

The event in late July was hosted by Terry Wogan and attended by 180

guests.
