The acquisition reflects CSM’s belief in the increasing role that technology and innovation plays in sport and entertainment. Curb's products include Meshh hyperlocal media and Rewind, a mobile on demand instant replay system for fans that doesn't require data or the internet.
Icon CEO Alastair Bewick said: "Curb is a powerful addition to Icon and the wider CSM organisation. They are a potent creative force, enhancing our ability to embed innovative technology in the live experience for brands, federations and fans."
Anthony Ganjou, Curb Media CEO and founder, said: "We are absolutely delighted to join CSM. We are united by a passion for producing iconic and extraordinary brand experiences. This acquisition will allow the Curb brand and the technology we have built to rapidly scale internationally, bringing world class innovation to all of CSM's clients."
CSM is part of Chime, now owned by Providence Equity Partners.
