This is the second Sunsets event for the year, with the first taking place in Playa del Carmen, Mexico on 2 May.
The AB InBev brand has secured renowned chef Andre Amaro for the event, who will whip up an array of wood-fire based dishes for attendees. The Shaker Boys will handle the beverage side of things, concocting Corona-based cocktails for festival-goers.
The event will feature a marketplace where people can purchase local crafts and clothing, enjoy therapeutic massages and interact with Corona Goddesses and Nymphs who embody the spirit of the Sunsets event.
British electronic group Clean Bandit will headline the seaside festival, and the full line-up of artists will be revealed in the coming week.
Corona Sunsets emerged out the brand’s desire to bring people emotionally and physically to the beach, to give them a taste of summer and celebrate the magical sunset hour.
Marcel Marcondes, global vice-president at Corona, said: "Corona represents an opportunity to take a step back from the world and enjoy yourself, whether that is on a beach or at a bar with friends.
"The sunset stands as a time every day where you can actually feel the energy of the world shifting from day to night, no matter where you are. Through Corona Sunsets, we want to embrace this sunset feeling and connect people to our home – the beach."
Steph Okell, UK marketing manager at Corona, added: "Music is a passion for our consumers – along with travel, food and culture.
"The Corona Sunsets platform gives us an opportunity to combine all four into an immersive experience around the world. From digital amplification and social engagement, to in-store activation and our events, Corona will be activating a truly global platform."
Corona is also set to takeover bars across the UK to deliver the Sunsets festival experience albeit on a smaller, more intimate scale.
