Entry to the Ice Cave in Devonshire Green, Sheffield, the city's first ever ice cave, running from 15 to 25 September, is free. Each session will last one hour and upon entry, with visitors will be greeted by a Coors Light arctic explorer, fresh from the Rocky Mountains, before having a chance to get refreshed in the bar area with a 'Damme Cold' Coors Light from draught or bottle, or with a Coors Light mountain cocktail, to experience the ultimate in ice-cold refreshment. They will then have the opportunity to take part in a 30-minute Ice Cave Rave on the dancefloor.
Guests can stay warm by wearing specially designed thermal capes. The beer brand has also partnered with Mixmag, the dance music and club culture magazine, to select the UK’s coolest DJs to play throughout the ten day residency, with around 30 DJs are expected to play.
Coors Light opened its first pop-up ice bar in Brixton London in 2014; last year it revived the concept in Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.
