International Confex, the UK's leading meetings and events exhibition, has pledged its commitment to providing industry-specific education at future shows.

International Confex, the UK's leading meetings and events exhibition, has pledged its commitment to providing industry-specific education at future shows.

Show organiser, United Business Media, has appointed training and communications consultancy TradeTalk to create an integrated seminar programme for the 2001 event.

TradeTalk proposes a programme of seminars under the collective title of The Knowledge, to provide practical how-to advice on all aspects of conference, incentive travel, corporate hospitality and events.

International Confex event director Andy Lane said: 'We plan to create added value by offering people the opportunity to fill in their skills gaps and increase understanding of their own and related industry sectors.'
