Closer directs debut Lloyds TSB campaign

Lloyds TSB chose agency Billington Cartmell for its debut foray last month into experiential marketing.

A campaign, produced by the agency's live arm Closer, visited railway stations to encourage registrations to Lloyds TSB's mobile and Internet banking services.

A giant mobile phone played video footage on products or services when its buttons were pressed, and a text-to-win competition off-ered Sony Ericsson pre-pay phones and HCB-02 Bluetooth Headsets as prizes.

Billington Cartmell senior account director Andrew Jarvis said: "Winning the Lloyds TSB business is hugely exciting for the team."
