In an exclusive chat with Event magazine, Clarkson said: "There is no pre-pack or phoenixing of Red Snapper Events. I am not rising the company from the ashes. It is actually being sold by the administrators Middleton Partners."

He also revealed how he had personally spoken to all of his suppliers and explained the situation to each of them. He added that he was also delighted and thankful for all of their support and that which he has received from the event industry.

Talking about new company Red Snapper Projects, which Clarkson registered with Companies House on 31 March this year, he added that this had nothing to do with Red Snapper Events.

Clarkson will be in a position to reveal more to Event magazine about Red Snapper Projects in the coming weeks.

Event reported last month how the catering and management firm was entering into voluntary liquidation after encountering some financial difficulty.
