Taking place at Olympia West, London, this weekend (17-19 October), the show has been planned by Parisian organiser Salon du Chocolat to wrap up National Chocolate Week. The fashion show will see designers collaborate with the culinary world in a catwalk show each day at 5pm, with partnerships including Lindt Excellence and Caroline McCall, Café Royal and Alexandra Harper Millinery and Bruno Mirmont for Maison Boissier.

Dresses will be on display at the show throughout the weekend. Department store Harvey Nichols will also set up a pop-up space dedicated solely to books about chocolate and pastry.

A number of sampling events and workshops are due to take place, with brands such as Hotel Chocolat and Rococo Chocolates hosting educational tasting seminars in the Tasting Room. Younger visitors can join The Chocolate Club, a dedicated workshop space for children organised in partnership with the York Cocoa House.

On stage, speakers such as The Fat Duck’s ex-pastry chef Hideko Kawa and The Chocolatier Aneesh Popat will host demos throughout the show.

Sylvie Douce, co-founder and director of The Chocolate Show, said: "We have been organising chocolate shows around the world for over twenty years now and always wanted to bring the show to the UK. London is one of the great culinary hubs of the world and the show received a fantastic reception when we launched last year.

"The UK has a really exciting chocolate industry and interest in fine chocolate here is really growing, which is why The Chocolate Show London 2014 will be even bigger and better this year, with a fantastic line up of top chocolatiers and award-winning chefs."
