Lord Scott's blog about his celebrity meetings at his West End venue has evoked mixed response from members of the industry, while Hall's musings on whether websites can be experiential has divided the Event crowd.
And as if that weren't enough, Adam Sternberg wants to know if telling things how they are really is the way forward in his blog.

I always read the aforementioned contributors' blogs with interest. I don't agree with all their comments but most times bite my tongue and take the stance of "Least said, soonest mended".
What saddens me is the lack of contributors from north of Birmingham. Born and bred inth' north, I know that we have the best football teams up here and therefore the best footballers, stunning venues, great music, highly competent planners \(sans the attitude) .... and a great party outlook.
Now I know I like to shoot my mouth off, most times just to throw a spanner inth' works but surely I am not the only Event Magazine reader up 'ere. I know that fellow northerners are not all walking about in clogs eating pie and chips out of a newspaper as they come out th'mill.
So, come on fellow Northerners speak up ............... or is it a case of North is North and South is South and ne'er the twain shall meet ...... in which case it will still be only me 'olding me end up on me tod.

It would be interesting to know what % of the event community are in and around London. Quite high, I would imagine.
