The Event Awards 2009 held at the London Hilton on Park Lane hotel, a list of winners for which is available here, were met with high acclaim as Event editor Jeremy King was joined on stage by fellow host comedienne Shappi Khorsandi to present this year's gongs.

Acts included human beat-box maestro Beardyman, and the 'Yr Wall', by Lumacoustics, provided artistic defacement of the Event logo in an onstage graffiti show.

During the aftershow party live band Flood the Floor continued the night by playing a host of hit tunes to keep guests dancing until 3am.
